Here are the thoughts that come to mind as I try to decide if I will fulfill my Monday morning obligations.
No can beat the Cavs in the East. LeBron is totally untouchable right now. On Saturday, he went for 38-8-7 with no turnovers. They will not be beat. BUT! That won't stop me from a making a case for the Bulls... They can't stop LeBron, but the Cavs don't have anybody that can stop Derrick Rose (except LeBron). He will score. The Bulls are a streaky team. If Gordon gets hot, they can beat anybody. He hits a few threes, everyone's spacing gets fucked up, and the Bulls have two really good offensive rebounders (Miller and Noah) who can take advantages of second chances. Tyrus Thomas is totally unpredictable. He may be as freakishly athletic as LeBron. In Chicago, he's capable of changing games with a putback dunk. Singlehandedly. It's like magic. Or Magic. See what I did there? (Okay. Maybe it doesn't make any sense. I don't think Magic dunked much.)
Still, I can't wait to see the Cleveland/LA Finals.
I went to see Crank: High Voltage after work today. It was retarded, but I enjoyed it. The only thing I could compare it to is the first Crank. It's over-the-top action done in a completely original way. I like when people do things differently. Jason Statham appears to be more than happy to be the guy we hoped Vin Diesel and The Rock would be--the new action star.
I want to get yous into Joe Loves Crappy Movies. I go through the archives every couple of months. It's really wonderful. It might just be that I'm very familiar with and remember each audience of pretty much every movie.
I hate that people hate Nicolas Cage.
Zack Greinke: 3-0, 0.00 ERA, 26K/5BB, 1.05 WHIP--That, Phlip, is one good reason why the Royals are in first place.
Speaking of unhittable pitchers, why do the Mets hate Johan Santana so much? In his 3 starts they've scored 4 runs. He could have been a Yankee. We didn't want to part with Philip Hughes. Goody.

I'm glad that time stamp shows when I started this, rather than when I finished.
